Mr Marciniak went to school in Middlesbrough and studied Medicine at the University of Sheffield, where he was awarded the pre-clinical distinction prize and went on to graduate with Honours in 2006. He then went on to complete his higher surgical training as a specialist registrar in trauma & orthopaedic surgery on the Yorkshire training programme. Following on from this, Mr Marciniak completed two highly sought after and prestigious sub-speciality training fellowships at the Charnley Hip and Knee Unit in Wrightington, and the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford where he honed his skills in both hip and knee surgery before being appointed as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with special interest in complex and revision hip and knee surgery. Mr Marciniak is actively involved in teaching, examination and training of medical students, junior doctors, physiotherapists, allied health professionals and GP's. He is often invited to deliver instructional lectures in his field of expertise and is currently a Medical School Examiner.
